Working on my website

With a few planning ideas I think I've finally decided on the primary topic of my website. I think I will create a site about language tools and how to efficiently learn a language. This will essentially be similar to a pathfinder so I'll have to plan out the subpages to match various tools or different perspectives.
It is still in the rough phase.

For those people who have macs it's important to download an FTP tool that has a secure setting making it SFTP. I found Fugu to be helpful with my initial website planning. It serves the same purpose as the SSH tool for PCs.
Once the Fugu system is downloaded onto the mac, its important that the port is 22 and for my website I'm using the server myweb.usf.edu and the server name of alarrive. I've used Fugu about a year ago and found it difficult to use but keep in mind, they are constantly making updates to the product. Be sure to download the newest version.
I have yet to post anything, but am considering a language pathfinder and website.

Go HTML, Go

My first exposure to the page behind the page was very distracting and overwhelming. I was searching for some kind of link and I stumbled upon the view source button and thought "bleh, what is all this?" Then, I quickly closed out this rambling, nonsense page.
However, I remember using an entirely new set of eyes when HTML was explained.
I took an intro to instructional media and we went into the browser options where we could view the source on firefox it is under "view" and then "page source"
Here is an example of what one might see:

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<title>Gmail
